I just saw from my latest BMW CCA newletter that there is now (another!) oil consumption lawsuit on the N63 series of engines, including up to 2019 M550s, etc. Here is the list of included vehicles:

FWIW my '18 M550i now has 12,500 miles and I don't have a single engine related issue, nor have I had to add oil. Only my experience but I'm happy so far. A buddy of mine recently bought a used '16 X6M (4.4L V8) with about 32,000 miles on it. At 33,200 miles he had to replace all the turbo coolant lines at his cost of $6K. Ouch.
