Hi have retrofited too, definetly need a new firmware, My car is 2017build and was 11-2019 firmware, but it didnt solved the retrofit, so I have updated to 11-2020, now its perfect, also added HELC and coded LIC_FEATURE_11 to enable, also I have checked LIC_FEATURE_3 allready enabled.

But at the moment bimmercode cannot read BDC_BODY2, because of the firmware its too new, but no problem I am using esysx, its still works

If you need to learn how to update firmware, first you need full version of psdzdata, and Esys 3.34 is Ok, also check google there is a guide for f10, its almost same with g30, only you need to check squence of ecu for prerequest. Definetly first update to BDC_GWS then SAS then FLM, .......USS, NBT, ATM, finally BDC_BODY. Note: NBT its take nearly a hour.
