Unfortunately, I think it has more to do with the traction control programming than the mechanical grip. F80 TC was wayy too aggressive, even in MDM, even on RE-71Rs with stock tune, and turning TC off on public streets regularly in my opinion is irresponsible and unsafe for a car with as much power as the M3. At least with my comfort level anyways.
My neighbor's AMG GT-C by comparison has over 100+ more hp/torque and barely even breaks a sweat under WOT. It's a much more expensive car, but software is something that even Americans in their 40k Mustangs and Camaros get right. No excuses in my opinion. Just hope Lexus gets it right with this one.
