I understand why you are saying this and I agree with this based on the photographic evidence but I felt the same on the first photo shots of the S5 but on seeing it in person the car was/is stunning and way better than I could have hoped for.
As for the interior. Well tell me how BMW or any other supplier make their top model different, to me I don't see much difference between the M3 and the 335i apart from the seats and steering wheel. In the RS6 you will get the option of exclusive trims which will include
REAL carbon fibre, sports seat, a flat bottomed steering wheel and RS6 badging throughout the inside to tell you that you've just spent a fortune on something special.
Plus just wait till you hear that engine/exhaust note, it's no diesel taxi on start up like the M5 is.
