The cars are a similar shape so the couple car cover works fine on the convertible.
The difference is the antenna. The coupe does not have one. The convertible cover would need a sock for the antenna. When I ordered my cover, there was no convertible version. So I just unscrew the antenna before I put the cover on. I bought the indoor "stretch" cover from BMW. Very nice thick cover but it is for indoor use not outdoor.
