Do note if you get your m perf coilovers installed by a dealership (can be expensive, but they may throw in some other installations for free if you do them at the same time) they will respect the warranty. I believe the warranty applies for the duration of the new car warranty or 2-3 years outside warranty if you bought it later.
One of my shocks was leaking and they replaced it no problem. And you can pick up a set of m perf coilovers for ~2k hardware included so it's actually cheaper than the KW equivalent.
I think it's definitely worth it for track use. The car feels extremely planted and there's no wheel hopping some people have reported on the stock suspension. The only downside is that it can be quite stiff on the street, but that's to be expected.
