I get you want a luxury product and aren't afraid to beat it up - that's cool. For me it's not about a pristine luxury product, rather what product am I even buying?

We don't need watches, so having a watch is to have jewelry, and all jewelry is worn to send a message.

For me an overbuilt duty-use mechanical watch is a statement of intention just sitting on your dresser. It says, "go diving!" "go climbing!" "hike up that mountain!" Every time I look at it it says, "after this meeting I'm hitting the trails"

So for me it's about choosing the overbuilt duty-use product to fulfill that statement of intention.
