For what it's worth, the 2021 M550 is now listed on fueleconomy.gov. 5 Series is not yet listed on the Models list, but if you select M, then it lists all of the M240 variants, the M2, and the M550. The 530i shows up as well, but not xdrive, and not the 540i or 540ix.

I will try and check with my dealer today to see if the engineering hold is still on. My car should arrive at the port in NYC on Sunday.
