I ran in the novice class at the PBOC event at Barber this past weekend - oil temp was in the 260-265 range. I have the oil cooler.
RFT tires were ok, but the left front took a beating - I'll be looking for non RFT to run at the track next time.
Brakes were great - standard pads were fine for me. If you're running in the advanced classes, HP pads might be a good upgrade.
The step was awesome - put it in DS and it was always in the right gear - gave me plenty of opportunity to aim for the right line....on occasion, I even hit the correct line (but not all that often)
