It may not be a "Supercar" as in 2-doors,...and super low to the ground! But it would be crazy fast!,...like a Superfast Car!
My point would be,..why does the number of doors,...or limited numbers and price tag make it a 'Supercar'! If we go back a few years ago,..circa 1988,...the e28 M5 was the fastest 4-door car anywhere! I'm sure it wasn't in the same class as a Lambo Countach,...but would you rather hit the curves in the M5 or the Lambo?
I'm sure we would probably agree there wasn't a 4-door challenger no where close to the e28 M5,...nor where there many 2 door challengers either!
Note: The M5 has a 6-figure price tag!

U forgot the AMG Hammer. Killed the E28 M5 in pretty much all categories. Oh and a few Alpina B6 products.
A supercar is usually defined by a combination of looks, desirability, thrills, scarcity and performance delta relative to the rest of the automobiles of the era. IMO an M5 will never qualify, if nothing else it's just too common.
