I have the laser lights on my UK spec LCI 540i.
I am coming from a Mitsubishi Shogun with halogen headlights, so I can’t compare them to some of the other high end car headlights out there, but I can tell you that I find them to be fantastic. They are very bright - so much so that when I next drove my Shogun I kept thinking that I’d forgotten to turn my headlights on.
The adaptive part works really well too. I can see it recognising other vehicles and dimming that section, following them as they drive past. I was worried it would blind other drivers but I haven’t been flashed by anybody yet.
The car is great, but the headlights are one of my favourite features. I would definitely choose them again.
