The car is just a totally different beast now. I can't believe the difference. It's my first turbo car so I've never seen a tune make such a boost in power like this.
The bad:
Launch control is useless now. The tires want to break so the power gets cut off immediately and it's just... bad.
The fix:
Disable traction completely by holding down the button for 3-5 seconds, and just brake torque launch it the old school way. World of a difference.
I had the chance to do a couple of runs from a dig against a Dinan tuned M550. I couldn't get a good launch but once we got going, the power difference was nuts. Every time I used launch control it was just lag and the Dinan car would get the jump on me. I'm going to reach out to the Dinan owner again to see if we can do a few more runs, but this time without me using launch control.
