As a lot of you will know, BMW changed their bolt pattern (PCD) to 5x112 from 5x120, after about 40 years, with the newest cars they've launched, including the G01 X3, G30/31 5 series, G32 6 GT and G11/12 7 series.
There are a few others such as the X1, X2, i3 and i8 but I'm posting this on a G30 forum with the intent of discussion what some OEM options might be for a G30 or G31 that give a wider or lighter wheel option. The X1 etc options aren't wider.
A few people have shown pictures of the G30/31 with G11/12 wheels such as this thread and they look great which was the inspiration for this thread.

Another reason for this thread is that a number of people will want wheels that are wider than stock but want to keep the OEM look. G01, G11/12/32 wheels fit fine and will be a good option for G30/31 owners wanting to run wider tyres.
All of the info below is pulled from realoem.
The size and offsets for the G01, G30/31, G32 and G12/12 are as below and the weight is front wheel first, rear wheel second:
G30/31
20" 20x8.0 30mm 20x9.0 44mm
19" 19x8.0 30mm 19x9.0 44mm
18" 18x8.0 30mm 18x9.0 44mm
20" options:
636 15.6kg and 15.4kg (not a typo, the rear is lighter)
668m 13.9kg and 14.4kg
669m 11.8kg and 12.0kg (lightest by miles and a good choice imho)

G01 - the only staggered options are for 20" and 21". With both of them the 9.5" wheel will allow for 285mm wide rear tyres. The weights are missing on realoem for some of these, I imagine they will be filled in eventually.

Overall summary from me, if you want 20" wheels and if you're ok with the stock 245/35r20 and 275/30r20 tyres, then the best option for you is the 669m wheels that are for a G30/31.
If you want to go up to 255/35r20 front with 285/30r20 or 295/30r20 rear tyres then the best option is the 648m wheels.
The F90 M5 normal wheels are really heavy and I wouldn't recommend them at all. The 19" is heavier than some 20" options from other cars and the 20" is just an outright boat anchor. However the 789m from the Competition is quite light and could be a good option but due to the 9.5" and 10.5" widths you'll need to be running 255/35r20 or 265/35r20 at the front and 285/30r20, 295/30r20 or 305/30r20 at the rear and I'm not sure how many of those tyres would actually fit in a normal G30/31 body. The M5 has a wider front quarter panel for one.
If you have xdrive an obvious question is what happens with rolling radius?
The stock setup is actually 0.97% smaller at the rear with 20" wheels. So with 255/35r20 and 285/30r20 you are 1.1% smaller at the rear and with 255/35r20 and 295/30r20 you are 0.22% smaller. The non-staggered setup is of course the same front and rear so neither of these options will be a problem as they are so close to what is already available, but I'd go straight to 295/30r20 at the rear if it was me getting 648m wheels on my G30/31
If you're happy with 19" wheels then the best option is the 620 based on weight and for these you can go with 255/40r19 front with 285/35r19 rear which is 0.36% smaller than the front which is still within spec.
