I had a Eurostart EUR-BRS6 remote system with a Compustar RFX-P2WR3-SS - PRO 2-Way 2-Mile G15 Remote installed in my 2020 M550i xDrive in January. I am in the states but I believe Eurostart is made in Canada. Although expensive, it solves the problem without cutting or splicing factory wiring.
As long as the remote start system can't be traced as the source of an issue it can be installed and not void warranty
