Storing photos where you have control of them eliminates that from happening.
Say we're having a conversation about Mustang crashes and I want to find a funny picture pertinent to the topic. I find something suitable on Google but I don't know if it's going to be there in another week. So I save it, upload it to a photo hosting site that I control and link to it. Now it won't disappear unless I want it to.
As for the OP, I too recently took it in the shorts from Photobucket so I set up a free
Flickr account.
