I’m not suggesting this will happen to everyone, the guy who did the flash did say this was the first time they had seen this issue and wanted to dial into the car via laptop to fix it. I just couldn’t risk it. The repair bill was over £3k, luckily covered by warranty. If it happened again I’m sure they would of sniffed a rat!
At first i tought it was a legal action activated via FSC Codes from BMW servers. I think its not. Thank you for the answer.
