Here's the latest update (11 months in) for spray on, wipe off ceramic coatings
Gtechniq did pretty good, has been weak since the 7 month mark, but still hanging in there. The cost/performance leader is Griots Garage 3 in 1 ceramic spray $20! Still very hydrophobic at 11 months. Obviously on a garaged car these products can last much longer. I am still using up the crappy CarPro Reload that failed at 2 months. But on my Ferrari it lasts for 7 or 8 months since it rarely sees rain.
The future seems to be in the graphene products, which seem to be performing well, but more expensive.
