I don't think it matters much. I just picked up some samples of the Griot's Garage Ceramic Speed Shine at a local car event (they are local around here and give out samples all the time). I asked about the differences between it and 3 in 1 and he said the Speed Shine was for more frequent use (lower cost per ounce) yet still has a good amount of ceramic in it.

It will be interesting to see ScottHD add the Ceramic Speed Shine to his durability tests and see how it compares.
