I don't have quite what you describe, or at least I haven't thought about it before. However, having had an E60 M Sport for nine years, and now having a G30 M Sport with M Sport brakes, I do notice one slight difference. In the new car I feel like when I first touch the brake coming to a stop that nothing happens in the first half inch or so of pedal travel. It doesn't even kick off the cruise control until the pedal is a little farther down and braking starts; my other car did so immediately. The brakes work fine and in fact are clearly better than my old car's standard brakes. But it is just a bit disconcerting to me. I have only a few hundred miles on the car so I maybe I will get used to it. Just not yet. Oddly, a car friend of mine drove the car recently and when I mentioned this he said he had not noticed anything wrong with the brakes. Anyone else notice this or am I just imagining things? --Bob
