It's not easy to find a car you love, so I'd keep it. As you said, the N63tu is no guarantee as evidenced by BMW modifying that engine once again for the next gen cars. I did read the other day about a TSB that says the battery in the N63 cars should now be replaced at each oil change so if there's any way to get that covered it would certainly help keep costs down.
