Ever since Covid and the epic "chip shortage" fiasco, Stealerships have been raking in the cash. They can literally charge whatever they want and could care less about you because there are more buyers lined up behind you. Even used cars on their lots are selling for just a few thousand under the new car prices. They could give a shit. It's just the way it is right now.
