the engine rating has more to do with marketing than physical differences/ tuning differences, because the 3 is in a segment that has far more competition compared to the 5,
if you dyno both cars I guarantee you wont see a difference
as far as a 5kw difference between the two even if it was true, that would be unnoticeable in every thinkable situation
