I really enjoyed the physics lesson video. I think the Tesla truck will win over Honda Ridgeline owners. Hopefully there is room in the bedspace for a Ridgeline-style bed-trunk and Tesla puts one in it. And if the tailgate opens both horizontally and vertically.

But the country boys in my neck of the woods who run American and Dixie Flags out of the stake holes are not going to buy this truck. All and all out of the approximately 3 million light-duty truck sales per year, I'm not seeing a disruptive change with the cybertruck (stupid name BTW). Honda should be worried, not Ford/Chevy/Dodge.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
