I think that post is hinting at the "exoskeleton" design of the truck not being able to meet crash safety standards compared to modern cars with "crumple zones" that are intended to absorb energy from an impact. While the exoskeleton is incredibly strong, I believe the issue is that it will transfer the energy of an impact to the occupants inside instead of absorb it.
