Exactly. The vast majority of people can either not afford a car like a 911 or don't have a place in their life for a small and somewhat impractical sports car like a 718 or 911. People want SUVs which can be driven every day in all environments and haul the people/stuff they require. It's great that Porsche has been so successful with their SUV line which has allowed them to continue to create incredible sports cars.
