I compared them both in a 2017 7-Series. The specs are the same for the two cars except that in the 7 the hifi system has speakers in the rear doors whereas the g30 has them in the parcel shelf. I actually preferred the sound of the hifi system. It was punchy and clear with lots of strong base. The HK was probably a more sophisticated sound but it didn't do it for me.
