Sadly though, that is the future.
Electric autonomous cars.
And as we gradually head in that direction, manufacturers will gradually start to remove any 'manual' elements of car design that won't work with autonomous vehicles......and the big elephant in the room as far as that is, is of course the manual gearbox.
Any one currently age 50+ will probably not have to worry, but those of you under 30 will have to accept that by the time you're well into your 40's, its very likely that no car manufacturer will be still making a manual gearbox.
