I think you are confusing the holding clips used to hold the plastic trim pieces.

All cars have plastic in the interiors. However the material quality used in the G30s cabin is of very high quality and that includes all soft touch plastics. Your complaint is the plastic or metal clips used that seem to rapidly expand under temperature changes (Hot cabin with AC in full blast).
