I asked the dealer to play around with the $150 trunk spare and wheels options and see if that removed the hands free tailgate deletion but it stayed so thinking thats for sure out in the 2022 unless they get some chips over there fast. And no iphone key which also would have been a nice new feature

The trunk is still electronic close, but you lose the ability to waive your foot at it. I agree no digital iphone key kinda sucks, but there is still apple play, remote start. My 2022 build does have PAP as well even though price sheet suggested its not available.
