I'm pretty sure you could get the EU version working on US spec pre-LCI models since there is no harness difference.
The million dollar question is if you want NA red turn signals, did they make those parts with a new harness, or is it just coding. I haven't seen the NA versions yet, but I am sure the turning signal strip is too thin for the surface area requirement so I bet they flash the brake lights as well like the rest of the BMW model line up.
