I do 0-60 sprints off traffic lights at all the time. Wouldn't mind a few more hp one bit (m850 motor seems about right, f90 m5 I haven't driven yet). I very much prefer the acceleration of the m550 to the Tesla as the Tesla is putting too much torque to the wheels and it gets squirrelly on hard acceleration, whereas the m550 feels extremely well planted. My wife likes her Tesla for her daily commute, but I agree with others that the interior fit/finish isn't great.
