That is correct.....but it would be a step down compared to what I've been driving.
The thing is, these cars are more money......like the S7 and E43/CLS53....which is fine.....but not when they are giving you a fraction of the power the M550 is. There is absolutely nothing about those cars that warrants a higher price versus the 550-especially when they fail miserably in the segment they are aimed at (performance). I just don't get an AMG model going 0-60 in 4.4 or something. My 2014 CLS550 4Matic was faster. If you are going to charge a higher price for the name (AMG), then put some power into it. |
I mean, while I agree somewhat, you have to remember these aren't full fledged AMG models with hand-built engines. While the CLS/E53 aren't as fast as an M550, the driving dynamics are in my opinion much better, which I would willingly sacrifice speed for. The M550i in my experience just wasn't that good in the handling department.
