If you weren’t already planning on it, I’d highly recommend you clay bar before you wax. I’ve had good experience with Meguiar’s waxes (ultimate liquid wax) & clay as well.
Side note, I helped a friend apply 22PLE ceramic coating to his Lexus and it was pretty easy, just time consuming... but it lasted for over two years with amazing results.
