totally correct and that is why BMW has also made the M5 in AWD. once you get to about 450hp and equivalent Tq without AWD you just get the electronic nannies dialing back power.
The only way to prevent it is more tire which you can do in sports cars but in luxury sport sedans tire noise would be an issue with fatter tires.
