I think I'm going to change the oil 1000 miles after the initial break in oil comes out at 1200, and then every 3000 miles after that. I know I'll be paying for several oil changes between the BMW scheduled maintenance, but I think the best way to keep the F1 engine happy is fresh, clean oil.
Does anyone know what an oil change costs on the M3?
