Marky, just between you and me, the dealer always makes a profit.

1. Because what ever they have discounted you so far is an incentive from BMW Canada, so that $13,500 they get it back from them.

2. By offering them $35K+ Tax will mean $7K to play with from their profit centre, they eat a bit on their profit on the M3, and value the trade (335i) a bit more

3. You just sent a link for a 2007 335i at BMW Toronto which is selling for $48K, so...thats what they will sell your 335i for!

In the end the dealer still wins, because he makes money on both cars regardless, and IMO showing the numbers one way or the other on papers is meaningless...

hopefully things work out for you, but dont sleep on it...
