A few of the guys I used to skate with opened SPOT. Skate Park Of Tampa shortly after their brief pro careers. It's pretty fantastic these days. Tony Hawk made it one of his stops when he was touring. I skated there a few times way back when there was only a hand full of ramps in there.
I wanna get another board too, but a while back I jumped on a board and just went with what felt natural. Unfortunately, my muscles had lost the memory of what to do and I hung up at the top of a ramp. Flat on the ground from about 6' high. It was then that I discovered that they are making concrete much much harder now vs when I was in my prime skating days.
