I would have considered the F31 but it was poorly packaged and too expensive for the US market. No 6-cyl or RWD options and much less a manual transmission.

Manuals are going away. Just a fact of life. Not enough demand. But wagons? Come on BMW, now you will have no wagons at all in the US! Not everybody wants an SUV. We have an E class wagon because BMW 5 series wagon imports stopped with the E61. There seems to be enough demand for MB to import them. It isn't as if they need new tooling, just the will the bring them over.
