The M-performance exhaust don't have any valve/flap so the cold start is brutal.
Would the AC Schnitzer or Armytrix endpipe with flap closed be more quiet?

I have AC SCHNITZER EXHAUST fitted and yes it is quiet when the flap is closed. I would suggested you not to change the cat back but instead get it remapped and they will disable the cold start from the ECU.
