I don't think Gutierrez was braking. He was definitely looking down and adjusting something on the steering wheel; during that time he slowed and moved over to the left slightly. Alonso was coming up fast and miscalculated the speed differential imho. Thank God he's fine though. Nasty crash but did you see the tub? It was completely intact!
