Correct and incorrect. It will still fit, but what happens if you hit a pot hole or go over something that really puts your suspension to work? It could crack the brace in two because it's barely above the air box. It just doesn't fit properly

Thanks for the tip. Is that for the carbon fiber brace? A couple months ago I noticed that the accessories section of the BMW Web site mentioned that the carbon fiber brace was not suitable for the 135i, but now I see that the aluminum brace is specified for the 135, and the carbon fiber brace for the 128.
