Now I really don't understand why he would be biased for owning an f10, after all, most people moving to the g30 will come from the f10. There's no reason to be biased, I guess it's just his personal opinion.

Thanks and FWIW as the stater of that other post, the observations of the cars that night were purely my own and are indeed subjective. Not as a car journalist or whatever.
Yes, I dow own a m5 f10 now and it is the second one. i've owned 2 M5's e60/ e61 so it is likely that eventually I will somewhere in time will own the new series M5.
But from the first impression that I got from the G30, it was not for the better. Almost the same when I moved from the E39 to the E60. Not something I did because it looked nicer. On the other hand, I really liked the F10 on first sight over my E60 and it went even better (for me) with the 2014 upgrade. So it is not that I don't like newer cars.
It will be out in the open within a couple of weeks. Have a look and decide it you like it or not.
