I think you are right. From a review of the M4 I read:
"BMW has fitted two relatively small turbos – each working on three cylinders – to ensure they spool up quickly."
To avoid confusion, I tell anyone who is listening (a surprisingly tiny minority of my family and acquaintancies) that my M550i has
two turbo-chargers, not one but two!
And don't forget that
both my
two turbo-chargers are "Twin-Power".
