You can get a simplified nav view in the space between the speedo and tach. Also, the leaked pictures of the M8 instrument cluster leads me to believe that the 2020 M5 will have additional 'display modes' to match what the M8 is apparently getting. Or at least, so I hope - I won't get mine for a month or so.
