Weirdly the DCT on my 335i was just like that at first, but it was completely fixed with an ECU update (at the time, by getting the PPK). It went from being awful in traffic to being great.
Same engine (N55) and trans.
Running MHD tunes now, still just as good.
Weird how experiences with the 3 series seems to be so different to the 1 series. TCU and/or ECU software is different?
