Not sure if I'm on the same page, but I just purchased the Veepeak ODB2 adapter and the Bimmercode app and I was able to test out a coding of my wife's M240 today to fold and unfold the mirrors with the door handles and keyfob. Coding was successful.
Also just coded a few options on my G30 and all things look good.
