Think I'd be looking for a 2015/2016 981 GTS in the $60-70k range. Not saying I wouldn't go for a 718, just have a feeling I'd prefer the older one. Hell I kinda like the looks of the 987's the best.
I'm sure a Macan handles as well... but I don't want more room or more speed just more of a true sports car feel. Could get an M2 if I just wanted a faster/newer 135i.

I am biased and nothing sounds as sexy as an inline five or an inline six. Sure V8s can sounds great as do V10s and 12s (might as well be unobtainium lol for me).
I really like how my 718 sounds. It has its own character.
