On the one hand I can see this being a good anti-theft thing. On the other, it screws the owner if it's not a case of theft. I shudder to think how bad this would have been had it happened in some airport parking garage after a long trip. I was lucky this happened at home.

I had this happen to the i8, the M6 and the E-Class. One of the best investments we can make is in a set of dollies. Less than $150 for 4 and the car is always movable.
