I have a new (Dec 17) 520I G30. I like it and no faults at all. Yet.
I emailed the BMW connected drive team when I might expect an OTA map update. I was told my vehicle did not have this in writing and by phone
Could I ask help from the forum?
Surely this is incorrect? I thought all new BMWs had OTA.
On my spec sheet dated July 2017 it says under option 609 which all uk cars get:
OTA regional updates are free for 3 years, up to 4 times per year. It also states that worldwide map updates from the dealer are free for 3 years
So what's happened to my car?
Are the service agents wrong?
Did someone not push the correct button in Graz to activate OTA?
