depends what your preferences are. the ps3 is literally the gaming console of the future. alot of the games right now are made for the xbox360 and then ported and changed some codes so that it runs on the ps3, like nba games and others, but it is still using the xbox360 video codecs so the video quality of some games may be worse than expected. but games like final fantasy will be great for it since its made for playstation.
